Arijit Saha is a highly skilled Research Engineer with a passion for Robotics, Computer Vision and AI. With over 7 years of relevant experience, Arijit has a strong background in developing autonomous mobile robots for healthcare industry to facilitate disinfection and transportation. He is currently working at the hi-tech robotic systemz ltd as a Research Engineer, where he led the Research & Development team for Robotics and implemented a sensor fusion algorithm for object detection. Arijit has worked on various hands-on real-world projects in Python and Computer Vision, and is proficient in AWS Robomaker Technology which extends ROS framework with Cloud services. He has developed automation solutions for robots leveraging Shell Scripts to increase operational efficiency, and created simple but well-designed deployable solutions for robots to detect the motion of any intruder and the movement of the door using ROI based OpenCV approach. Previously, Arijit worked at Jetbrain as a Senior Robotics Engineer, where he was one of the key members since the inception of the startup. He led the Research & Development team for Robotics and developed highly scalable Robotics applications leveraging AWS Robomaker Technology. Arijit holds a B.Tech. and M.Tech degree with decent academic results from Jadavpur University and West Bengal University of Technology, respectively. He is a Research Scientist with expertise in Computer Vision, AI, AWS, Object detection, OpenCV, Object Detection, Python, and Mobile. Arijit is a curious explorer with a passion for learning new technologies and applying them to real-world problems.
